Founded in 2009 by a small group of enthusiastic ruggers who recognized the talent pool in the Franklin County and surrounding area.  The club has become a tight knit group of rucking and mauling and scrumming mates.

The club is a member of the 


and is looking forward to competing at the highest level and contributing to the positive growth of the game of rugby.

Inspired by the love of the game, we aim to:

  • Promote the game of rugby in the Franklin County area.
  • Teach and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to play the game of rugby.
  • Develop attitudes and appreciations that will encourage participation in all aspects of rugby.
  • Positively impact the community.

Crimson wins KC Midnight Madness Rugby 7's Tournament

First match of the spring season: March 2nd at 1:00pm at Lakeview soccer field
3rd annual Crimson rugby "Winter Bash" mouse races February 23rd at the Washington Brewery Banquet Hall(108 Busch ave)
Doors open at 6:00pm, races start at 7:00pm. Tickets are $25 and include beer, wine, soda, food, a DJ, and a great time.
